Security Officer Training
The class D license requires 40 hours of professional security training to meet state licensing requirements as per Florida Statutes 493.
Security Officer Training (D License)
The Security Officer (Class D) course will teach students the basic principles of working as a security guard. The course modules includes Access Control, Terrorism Awareness, Emergency Procedures, Report Writing, Interviewing Techniques, CPR, and Crime Prevention. The course is designed to provide the ability to detect/deter crime and respond effectively to security and emergency situations.
28 hours G License
This course provides the state-required training to become an armed security guard in Florida. It includes 28 hours of classroom and range training pertaining to the use of firearms in connection with duties regulated under Chapter 493, Florida Statutes (F.S.).
